Start with the right diagnosis
Guessing at a truck repair gets expensive fast. A warning light or a rough idle can point to several different causes, so the first job is working out which one you actually have.
Our certified mechanics bring decades of combined experience to that step. Once we know what's wrong, we tell you in plain language what we found, what it will take to fix and how long it should realistically take.
Signs it's time to call
Most problems give some warning before they leave you stranded. Bring your truck in if you notice any of these:
- A warning light that stays on or keeps coming back
- Hard starts, a rough idle or lost power under load
- More smoke than usual, or smoke that has changed color
- Coolant, oil or fuel showing up where the truck parks
- New noises, vibration, or brakes and steering that feel different
Any of these can start small. Catching them early can mean a simpler repair and less time off the road.
Who we work with
Owner-operators, local businesses and travelers passing through all come through our doors. Some arrive for planned work, and others show up after a breakdown on the highway with a long way still to go.
No matter the size of the job, you get the same treatment: a straight explanation, a realistic timeline and options that help you manage cost without giving up quality.
Start with a phone call
We've been doing this work in Coeur d'Alene since 2000, and we're still a family business. If your truck is down, call and describe what it's doing. You don't need to have the answer worked out before you pick up the phone.
